The Eterra PDX-1000 Post Driver delivers 1,000 ft-lbs of driving force per strike, making it a powerful and efficient solution for setting posts in nearly any ground condition. Using a nitrogen-charged power cell, compressed by the machine’s hydraulics, the PDX-1000 delivers consistent impact force to drive posts quickly and securely. Unlike other post drivers, its driver body sits two feet closer to the machine, improving downforce, maneuverability, and visibility for precise placement. A heavy-duty housing with rubber isolators absorbs vibration, reducing wear on the machine and operator fatigue.

The PDX-1000 features an optional 15-degree hydraulic tilting mechanism, allowing operators to place and drive posts accurately on uneven terrain or slopes. It also offers an optional grapple add-on, giving operators the ability to pull and place posts without leaving the cab. The post guide housing system includes four interchangeable guides for 2″, 4″, 6″, and 8″ posts, ensuring a secure fit for different post sizes. For posts over 9 inches, the guide housing can be removed, allowing direct impact with the driver head. Post driving tools include a domed or flat driver head for posts 2-8″ and larger, plus a 5 ft. breaker spike for pre-driving holes or breaking through underground obstructions or concrete. Built with high-tensile strength tool steel, all driver tools withstand high-impact use on wood, steel, and composite posts.
