Disclaimer: The Gripmaster Tire Studs are designed to provide traction by creating a firm bite into the surface, including snow and ice. However, be cautious when using these on delicate surfaces like driveways, as they may leave temporary scratches or marks, especially during skid turns. These marks typically fade after a few rainstorms, but if you’re working on a client’s property, it’s essential to use care or avoid studs to prevent surface damage. • Use a low torque driver at fairly slow speed
• Screw the stud in until the washer (underside) visually makes contact with the rubber
• Go no more that 1/2 turn past that point.
• We recommend using 30mm or 1″ studs for skid steer or compact loader installations because of the amount of tearing action the machines can produce when turning. It is your responsibility to measure and order the correct length to insure they cannot pull out. It they are too short, they will pull out.
