1/2″ Case Skid Steer Forestry Door | | Shields

The 1/2″ Case Polycarbonate Forestry Door from Shields is an excellent replacement or upgrade for your Case Skid Steer (compatible models below) for forestry applications and other uses where protection for the operator is needed. This door includes a windshield only, and is designed to fitthe existing frame and mounting holes as standard OEM glass. Check out our skid steer cab enclosures if you need the full frame, latch, and mounting hardware. Shields doors feature milled edges for transferring the door seal with ease.

Made of heavy-duty, super-coated, abrasion-resistant polycarbonate, these doors are rated for forestry mulching, demolition, wood processing, tree shearing and more. NOT RATED for chain shot applications. Shields doors are post-coated with Shields SUPERCOAT™ which provides abrasion resistance. However, using wipers can eventually cause scratching when grit/dirt gets caught on the wiper.

Hardware and Latches/Handles not included. This is not the same product as the Case Brand Forestry Package.

Mounting Details

 Shields doors are designed to be a direct replacement for your standard OEM door and feature the same mounting and hardware holes. The door uses your existing OEM hardware for installation and replacement of your existing door. Purchase of this door does not include mounting hardware or seal. If replacing a 1/4″ or less thickness OEM door with 1/2″ polycarbonate, longer bolts may be required for optimal installation. The best way to tell which door you need is by looking at your door’s wiper arm. The Dual Wiper arm is a larger wiper and it is attached lower on the door, in the lower section where the door is narrow. It also has two arms that hold the wiper blade. The Single Wiper Arm is mounted slightly higher and to the left when looking at the door from outside.
